About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
• Support access control measures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during critical situations.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and client site-specific standards regarding the handling and carrying of firearms.
