As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This role requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must provide one of the following: DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree or 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner in a government environment.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or the client as required.
Maintain a visible presence while on duty to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or the public while carrying out security-related responsibilities.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
