As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with clients and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry within the location.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to company and client protocols.
Work closely with client representatives and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support the needs of the location.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, especially in areas critical to the operations of the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
