Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Driver Patrolman in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state, supporting coverage across the location as needed. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct armed, regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas, ATM and drive-through lanes, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site management and local law enforcement as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization for entry, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, incidents, and alarm or camera observations, and communicate key information during shift turnovers.
