About The Position
As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements
- Have three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post for the location, maintaining detailed records and logs of all activities.
- Coordinate security-related responses to incidents, emergencies, and/or alarms, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by addressing inquiries and assisting with access as required by location policies.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal personnel, site staff, and emergency services as needed to relay critical information.
- Assist in the deployment and direction of on-site security-related personnel during incidents or routine operations.
- Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with mobile personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
- Respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing communication tools and resources provided at the dispatch post.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site-specific policies, emergency response procedures, and security-related protocols for the location.
