Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating our commitment to teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious behavior or activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the location.
Interact with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related requirements.
Operate communication devices to stay in contact with Allied Universal and site management as necessary.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
