Job Description As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a professional presence while monitoring entrances, exits, and other designated areas as required by site procedures.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as directed by site protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client expectations.
