About The Position

As a Security Guard - Aerospace Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an aviation and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors by providing information and direction while upholding security-related procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, following established communication protocols.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential security-related threats within the location and report findings promptly.
