As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the location, reporting findings as required.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters.
Maintain accurate records and write detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any irregularities observed during patrols.
Remain alert and ready to respond to alarms, emergencies, or requests for assistance as needed, adapting to the unique environment of an aerospace and defense location.
