Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel when required.
  • Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or the public at the location.
