As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for residents and guests. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of residents, guests, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry at the residential location.
Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directing them as needed while following site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including following evacuation and/or lockdown protocols when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to residents and guests at the location.
