Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and granting access to authorized individuals as required by site-specific policies.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed while maintaining a security-related presence.
