As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and employees. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific access control procedures.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access and site policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and security-related risks.
- Report and document any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations according to Allied Universal procedures.
- Collaborate with site management and local law enforcement as required during security-related events or emergencies.
- Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site policies.
