About The Position

The Security Officer at Feld Entertainment Inc. is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility as directed by the Security Guard Supervisor. This includes managing access control, conducting patrols, verifying identification, and responding to incidents and alarms. The role requires a proactive approach to security and adherence to established procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read, be well spoken, and verify understanding of Post Orders.
• Prior security experience in a large facility environment or law enforcement.
• Proficient in using computers and basic programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• First Aid / CPR trained or certified preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in outside, covered, and uncovered areas.
• Experience with crowd control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain entry and egress access control to facility grounds.
• Operate Feld Entertainment access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems (training will be provided).
• Conduct roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas.
• Verify visitor and building employee identification.
• Prepare incident and daily operating reports.
• Monitor and respond to building intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor alarms and fire detection equipment.
• Respond to support other life safety duties as identified in 'Post Orders' and standard operating procedures.
• Complete daily patrol reports to supervisor.
