About The Position
The North Carolina Zoo seeks experienced Security Guards for its second shift Security team. These positions provide after-hours safety and security, including emergency response for Zoo life-support systems. The schedule is rotational, covering the second shift from 4:00 pm to Midnight, including weekends and some holidays, with a 10% shift premium pay. Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments. This position reports to the Second Shift Security Supervisor, Emergency Operations Manager indirectly and is designated essential/mandatory personnel.
