Requirements

• High School equivalent education required.
• Customer service experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates traffic flow and provides directions to patients, visitors, and guests.
• Promotes safety and provides a positive first impression to patients and visitors.
• Maintains security at all hospital outlets.
• Greets patients, visitors, and other guests, providing information to assist them in reaching their specific destinations.
• Manages wheelchair distribution and provides security escorts for guests and employees to and from vehicles as requested.
• Ensures fire zone areas are clear of excessive traffic or unattended vehicles.
• Patrols premises to ensure the security of patients, visitors, and guests.
• Issues parking violation tickets as necessary and writes Security Incident/Occurrence reports for violations.
• Applies correct and effective crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
• Responds to and provides security dispatch for hospital emergencies, including all Codes, community disasters/incidents, and severe weather warnings.
• Works closely with Tracer Security Services to initiate the use of the boot for chronic parking violators.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
