About The Position

This position is with Lockheed Martin’s Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS), Program Security and Compliance, and focuses on protecting exquisite government capabilities to ensure warfighter supremacy. As a program security professional, the incumbent will safeguard sensitive information and warfighting capabilities, working alongside other program security experts and military members to support military operational objectives by providing a safe and secure operating environment. The role is located at MCAS Miramar, CA, and supports F-35 security operations. The program provides comprehensive security support services, including Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support for US Marine Corps, US Navy, and US Air Force customers.

Requirements

  • Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate
  • Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials
  • Knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)/Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) or Program Security Officer (PSO)
  • Experience working in a military environment, specifically the USMC
  • COMSEC knowledge / experience
  • Prior experience teaching / instructing
  • Prior experience maintaining Fixed Facility Checklists, classified material inventories, PERSEC records, and SOPs in support of Special Access Programs in accordance with DoD5205.07 SAP Volumes
  • Experience with DISS, JPAS, and JADE
  • Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities
  • Operate badging and access control systems
  • Monitor security camera systems
  • Perform random entry/exit searches
  • Enforce all DoN, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC
  • Provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers
  • Change combinations and generate SF 700s
  • Assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections
  • Perform and document vault alarm tests
  • Assist in security inquiries
  • Provide collateral security support
  • Assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC)
  • Perform additional duties as required/assigned
