In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected. The Work: Duties will include but are not limited to: This position is located at MCAS Miramar, CA and will support the F-35 security operations. This position will primarily be assigned to second shift but may require flexibility to work other shifts as dictated by customer requirements to include weekends and other shifts assigned to support mission events. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for. Occasional business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment support in arduous or austere locations to support F-35 security operations outside of MCAS Miramar. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required, in the future. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all DoN, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC), and additional duties as required/assigned.
