About The Position

As a program security professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you’ll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected. This position is located at Hill AFB, UT and will support F-35 security operations. Duties will include but are not limited to: -Responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 SIM Facility. -Enforce all local security policies and procedures. -Oversee visitor access and be the first line of security defense in the SIM Facility. -Execute the handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media. -Support access control and physical security measures assist instructors, students and visitors. -Operate badging and access control systems. -Perform random searches. -Conduct self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections. -Assist in security investigations. -Communicate, interact professionally during the enforcement of security policy and procedures. -Interact daily with senior ranking military officers and enlisted personnel and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism. -Identify, implement, and enforce overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data. -Support either first or second shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission and Air Force reserve requirements. -Must be able and willing to perform business travel, to include Squadron detachments depending on operational needs. Position may require the ability to perform in an arduous/austere duty environment to support the customer in that location. May be required to work at deployed locations, work rotating shifts, and work more than 40 hours per week due to operational and customer needs. -On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for. US citizenship required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted. The program is eager for program security professionals. In support of our US Air Force, US Marine Corps, and US Navy customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for. Requirements

  • Experience providing oversight to multi-functions of security, such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA).
  • In depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07, Vols 1-4.
  • Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Industrial and/or military security experience.
  • Prior experience as a CPSO, GSSO, PSO, PSM, ASM, or PSR
  • US citizenship required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on the F-35 Program.
  • Experience providing Special Access Program Indoctrination / Refresher / Debrief / Foreign Travel briefings.
  • Capable of giving large group unclassified and classified briefings to government and contractor personnel.
  • Experience working in a dynamic military environment.
  • Personnel Security, document control, and Access Control experience.
