Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol distribution and logistics areas to help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver excellent customer service through strong communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Assist with incident documentation and reporting in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
