As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Assist with visitor management processes, including registration and escorting when required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including exterior and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting staff, contractors, and visitors with access-related needs.
Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or breaches of access control protocols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding occupants and coordinating with first responders.
