As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a telecom and technology location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or badges as required by site policy, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas.
Observe and report unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, suspicious activity, or potential hazards, and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in a clear and timely manner using paper forms and/or site reporting systems.
Provide support during alarms, outages, and service disruptions by following post orders, coordinating with site operations, and helping to maintain orderly movement within the location.
Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and delivery drivers, enforcing site rules in a courteous manner and referring issues to management when needed.
Operate security-related equipment such as radios, phones, and access control systems as assigned by post orders.
Participate in briefings, follow Allied Universal post instructions, and coordinate with other team members for shift coverage and incident response.
