As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, screen personnel and/or items, and complete clear security-related documentation using a computer or tablet. You will stay highly visible, communicate professionally with drivers and team members, and support smooth operations through customer-focused service. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated entry points using established processes such as identification verification, visitor logging, package and bag inspection, and access badge checks.
• Monitor access control points for warehouses, loading docks, and yard areas, documenting entries and exits and reporting irregularities to site leadership per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with operations staff, and completing detailed incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including interior common areas and exterior dock and parking areas, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
