As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to financial institution areas by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, documenting details, and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.
  • Complete routine security-related reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift notes, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
