About The Position

The Security/Fire Alarm Technician at Absolute Systems LLC is responsible for installing and servicing security and fire alarm systems, including cameras and access control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety codes and standards. The technician will also be responsible for documentation, inventory tracking, and responding to client requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as an Alarm Technician.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Fire Alarm License.
• Knowledge of CCTV and mid-level security systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with low voltage systems.
• Ability to follow building blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security and fire alarms, cameras, access control, and other low voltage systems.
• Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply codes, rules, standards, and requirements.
• Read and interpret system layouts to meet customer needs and follow building blueprints and scope of work.
• Perform inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
• Complete all documentation requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Track inventory and orders correctly.
• Respond to requests from supervisors and clients promptly.
• Travel out of the area as required.
