We are currently hiring for a Fire & Security Alarm Installation Technician in our Syracuse, NY branch. $20-$27/hour, based on experience ---------------------------------------- Installation Technicians focus on setting up new security, fire, camera, and access systems in residential and commercial environments. You’ll engage directly with customers on a daily basis, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the alarm industry preferred
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Proficiency with low voltage install, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, intrusion, fire, access control, and intercom systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work occasional nights/weekends and travel within the Syracuse region
- Ability to drive a company vehicle
- Comfortable working in various environments
- Adherence to all safety protocols
- Detail-oriented, organized, and ethical

- OSHA 10 and/or NICET certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Install and configure electronic security, fire, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and network-based intercom systems
- Service and troubleshoot systems to resolve performance issues
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Educate customers on system functionality, features, and service needs
- Provide exceptional customer care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering helpful solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
- Uphold high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer care
