Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. Product Security Engineering's (PSE) mission is to Enable Cloud to Grow Securely. We are a service oriented organization and are putting product security at the center of everything we do. We strive to find ways to say 'Yes' recognizing that sometimes our role is to say 'No'. We strive to engineer away classes of problems. We support Cloud products first, but also understand security of underlying infrastructure to fix systemic issues at the root-cause and increase defense-in-depth. Our view is that the Cloud cannot grow unless it is secure. In this role, you will be driving and helping ensure Google Cloud is the most secure Cloud. You will be oriented around supporting Cloud's continued growth. You will manage risk in business growth and focus on the security strategy for Google Cloud.
