About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Engineer ibn Cupertino, CA. Scope of Work & Technologies: This role involves conducting security assessments across a wide range of applications, including web platforms, mobile apps, and AI/ML-based systems. The technologies in scope include: AI/ML models and LLM-based features Model APIs and inference endpoints Common web technology stacks AWS services such as EC2, S3, KMS, and RDS AI/ML Security Focus: A key priority is evaluating the security of AI/ML components, with emphasis on: Risks associated with data ingestion Exposure through model APIs Vulnerabilities at inference endpoints Specialized assessments will be conducted to identify and mitigate privacy and security risks, ensuring the safe deployment and operation of AI/ML and LLM-based functionality Collaboration Across Teams: Security engineers will work closely with internal stakeholders, including development teams and other departments, to: Perform secure architecture reviews Support vulnerability remediation Align security strategies with enterprise workflows and application requirements Knowledge Sharing and Enablement: The role may include delivering reports and presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. These efforts aim to: Communicate findings and recommendations Promote secure development practices Strengthen the overall security posture of enterprise applications Remediation and Reporting: Engineers will be responsible for providing clear, actionable guidance to address identified vulnerabilities
