BASIC PURPOSE: The primary responsibilities of the Security Engineer include security system deployments, configuration, monitoring, and reporting. The Security Engineer will have a lead role in performing vulnerability assessments, security testing, and working with infrastructure and development teams on remediation and mitigation of findings. Additionally, the Engineer will be key in the management and root-cause investigation of all reported or identified security incidents / vulnerabilities, as well as provide technical support to the planning, design, re-engineering, implementation and deployment of security solutions, processes and controls which safeguard and monitor events for the Company’s “material” information systems, enterprise applications and data.
