As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities, we are seeking a Security Engineer specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our Information Security team. This role is critical in supporting our M&A activities, ensuring smooth integration of acquired companies, and maintaining the highest security standards across our expanding organization.

Requirements

• 50%+ travel required
• Knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft and mitigating controls
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with strong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc) and familiarity with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity
• Experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications
• Experience developing and implementing defensive controls around endpoint and SaaS applications
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects
• Have participated in or supported incident response events
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Ability to develop and maintain systems in cloud environments and familiarity with deploying code through CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building high volume log ingestion and storage pipelines
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging deployment issues with the following general categories of security tools: EDR, Logging, Monitoring
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems

Responsibilities

• Travel to acquisition target sites (50%+ travel required) to assess their current security posture
• Conduct comprehensive security evaluations of potential acquisition targets
• Develop and implement security recommendations for acquired companies to align with Anduril's security standards
• Design and execute integration plans to incorporate acquired companies into Anduril's security infrastructure
• Establish and maintain visibility across newly integrated systems and networks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security practices during M&A processes
• Architect and implement defensive security controls for cloud, production, and corporate environments of both Anduril and acquired companies
