Your Role on Our Team: Established security professional comfortable with cloud security controls such as policies, logging, access, networking and CSPM. You will be partially responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents, while you engineer new security solutions to extend security capabilities, and support existing security controls. In your security operations role, you will independently review and assess common and unusual security events from a variety of sources including commercial security event and incident monitoring technology, and then contain and remediate incidents as necessary. In your engineering role, you will assist with architectural design, engineering maintenance, and application administration for the Information Security tool and cloud suites including firewall rules, phishing controls, event configuration and policies.

Requirements

  • Experience or formal education in any combination of the following areas: cloud security controls, networking, firewalls, phishing/malware tools, application administration, scripting, security analysis, threat detection, threat intelligence and incident response.
  • Experience with application troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of integration services (CI/CD platforms, configuration management, cloud services).
  • Understanding and use of project management skills including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience with operating systems including Windows desktop, Windows Server and Linux.
  • Experience with one or more cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Office 365, Oracle Cloud, etc.
  • At least 2 years of IT experience (including security experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years experience designing, implementing and supporting cybersecurity systems
  • Security certifications a plus: CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISM, etc.
  • Cloud certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create and configure new security controls and integrate existing security controls in cloud environments under the guidance of architects and senior engineers.
  • Maintain and support existing network, system and endpoint security controls.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents independently.
  • Collaboratively develop, test, deploy, and iteratively improve security capabilities, processes and tools while driving towards best practices, industry standards and compliant deployments.
  • Assist with security audits, perform vulnerably assessments and drive complex remediation activities.
  • Create and maintain security documentation.
  • Review logs and security reports from various systems.
  • Continuously develop yourself and support the development of others.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
