As a Security - Engineer - Boiler Tech you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Engineer - Must have a Third Grade Engineer License from the City of Omaha (Boiler Certification) This position would be perfect for a retired engineer, looking to work again for extra income, without all the stress of a regular Engineer position. The pay is $24.50 as per the contract and is NOT negotiable. Looking for a candidate to start immediately. This position is required to monitor equipment (boilers, temperatures, pressures, water pumps, fans, air handlers) and trouble shoot when needed by contacting the on-call Facilities manager. They may perform the needed repairs themselves or utilize face time to have the manager walk them through the process. If they are unable to fix it then the manger will contact another vendor to come in and complete the repairs. Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
