The Security Dual Rate Supervisor directs Security activities in assigned zone, and supervises physical security of zone, with the assistance of the Security personnel when scheduled. Coordinates Security personnel to ensure compliance with all related policies to provide a safe environment for our guests. Coordinates Louisiana Economic Development Gaming Commission and company policies to ensure effective performance. Assists Security Shift Manager in Security functions to include monitoring of alarms and reporting of disorder on the casino and hotel premises. Ensures that posts in their zones are properly manned and that reliefs are provided when necessary. Evaluates the performance of personnel under their supervision. Acts as a role model, always presenting oneself as a credit to JCC and encourages others to do the same. ADDITIONAL WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF DUTIES: Door Officer: Responsible for the Project 21 podium. All door officers are required to go through intensive training identification cards which may include driver's license, identification cards, military identification, and passports. They must be able to recognize a fraudulent or misrepresented identification from patrons. They are also to greet each and every patron that comes into the casino. Door officers also assist patrons with lost and found items because those items are turned in to the door officers. Bike Patrol: The primary responsibility of the bike patrol is to patrol the outer perimeter of the casino which includes garages, hotel perimeter, and Fulton Street. Bike patrol also does a continuous check in the parking garage to assist patron with their needs. They are also required to do a space count on the weekends and secure the garage when it is full. The bike patrol escorts patrons to and from their hotels safely. Hotel Officers: Hotel officers are responsible for the security of all hotel patrons and visitors. They are to man the lobby of the hotel as well as the other common areas like the second floor ballrooms and restaurants. Hotel officers are also required to patrol the floors on a consistent basis to insure that all doors are properly secured, and everyone on the floors is a registered guest. Hotel officers also assist guest with escorts to their rooms. Their responsibility also includes opening hotel safes which are located in guest rooms. Hotel officers are to be very visible in the hotel and use their FOCUS skills to the highest degree. Security Officer: Assisting patrons with whatever assistance they may need at any given time which includes escorting patrons to their destinations and assisting with directions whether it is inside the casino or outside Protecting company assets which may include maintaining a stationery post in sensitive areas or escorting company funds from one location to another. All officers must maintain a professional appearance at all times Paying patrons jackpots with the slot and table games department. Assist with capturing illegal acts and protects Caesars and Guest's property by proactively deterring criminal acts Acts as a role model, always presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
