About The Position

The Security Driver, Corporate Security provides secure vehicular transportation for officials of the organization to various locations. Essential Job Functions: Drives an enterprise-owned vehicle to transport officials of the organization to various locations, according to assigned schedule and/or upon authorized request. Determines in advance the most efficient driving routes and alternate routes, prioritizing passenger security, timely arrival, and avoiding delays where possible. Plans must factor in parking, entrances, exits, and other issues that may create delays. Timely advises passengers of potential delays and adjusts route, where possible. While driving vehicle, and at departure/arrival site, provides Executive protection and other security-related functions as needed. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding travel itineraries and conversations with and of officials being transported. Responsible for maintaining company vehicle, including but not limited to cleanliness, scheduling and completion of general maintenance, and record of service, ensuring that warranty and insurance issues are managed, and reporting any issues with the vehicle in a timely fashion. Coordinates access requirements for various facilities ensuring appropriate credentials, drop-off sites, and parking are arranged in advance and do not impede timely arrival. Communicates with local law enforcement as necessary to promote transportation security. For tax reporting purposes, maintains a log of all trips, including passengers. Demonstration of FINRA’s values. Collaboration, both in-person and virtually, in furtherance of FINRA’s mission of investor protection and market integrity. Other Responsibilities: Performs administrative duties as directed by leadership. Performs specific security-related duties as assigned. Successfully completes all required training courses.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of driving experience in a professional capacity.
  • Law enforcement or security-related experience required.
  • Ability to lift and carry baggage and personal effects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tactfully negotiate conflict.
  • Familiarity with the use of a PC.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and certifications in defensive driving courses highly desired.
