The Door Greeter is responsible for verifying the identification of casino patrons to ensure compliance with age restrictions, prohibiting entry to intoxicated individuals and minors, and monitoring the overall safety of the casino floor and entrance areas. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to provide outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, and vendors. Regular attendance is required, and the position may occasionally require later hours or weekend shifts, especially during project deadlines. A neat and well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times. The essential functions of the Door Greeter include exemplifying excellent guest service, checking identifications for age verification, maintaining a daily visitor count, monitoring ID scanners and metal detectors, and observing and reporting any incidents, safety concerns, or violations of procedures. The role also involves using radio communications to ensure the safety of the environment and safeguarding company property and assets. The Door Greeter must create a safe and friendly atmosphere for guests and team members and perform other duties as assigned. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities, but it plays a vital role in the overall guest experience and safety within the casino environment.
