About The Position
This job answers internal/external calls for Security Operations, which average 2-3,000 transactions daily. Answers routine and emergency calls for security assistance while obtaining all necessary information required while dispatching security officers to calls for service as well as making notifications to on duty supervisors. Responds to all emergency situations, all types of Hospital/Clinic codes at any given time, monitors Hospital/Clinic video screens, maintains security log and all associated computer entries; handles all call and on-call for security and emergency preparedness for main campus and regional clinics as well as notifications for security incidents and emergency preparedness issues. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
