The Security Officer’s Dispatch main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for our guests and team members while protecting company assets. Security Officers Dispatch will perform all duties in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and procedures, and within the realm of the Caesars Entertainment mission statement. The Security Officer Dispatch position is a customer contact, public relations area in addition to the normal duties, with most contact via the telephone. It is important to relate to the guest with respect, concern and courtesy. Security Officers Dispatch will be required to know the floor plan of the property and know the operating times of the various facilities for the purpose of giving directions and providing customers with accurate information requested. Security Officers Dispatch will routinely patrol assigned areas while providing guest assistance, being alert for suspicious circumstances or individuals, gaming violations, possible theft, safety hazards or related concerns, medical emergencies, or damage to Caesars Entertainment properties. The Security Officer Dispatch must know where all emergency equipment and exits are (phones, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, etc.). Any incident which would warrant security intervention will be immediately relayed to Security Officers Dispatch by the observing Officer. Regardless of where an Officer is assigned, the Security Officer Dispatch should be prepared to respond to assist fellow Officers at any time. Security Officers Dispatch will display a professional, courteous, and a respectful demeanor at all times.

  • Greet guests and fellow team members with a friendly and sincere welcome.
  • Communicate effectively with patrons over the telephone, presenting a pleasant, courteous personality.
  • Verify that all required equipment is on hand and functioning properly.
  • Perform data entry for all applicable programs, remaining calm and professional during stressful situations.
  • Review accessible video cameras and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a watchful eye on the alarm systems and notify proper emergency personnel upon activation.
  • Continuously patrol the property to ensure the safety of guests and team members.
  • Exercise good judgment in solving problems and facilitate resolution of customer complaints.
  • Act as an ambassador of Caesars Entertainment by providing accurate and detailed directions.
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance reflecting the professional demeanor of the Security Department.
  • Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court.
  • Provide medical assistance as a 'First Responder' when necessary.
  • Interview, investigate, and document all applicable incidents requiring Security intervention.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Meet required attendance guidelines and adhere to all company policies.
  • Respond to areas of need when dispatched in a timely manner.
  • Conduct slot, pit poker, and other drops in compliance with Nevada Gaming law.
  • Follow departmental policy concerning the 'Use of Force' with respect to arrests.
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • 1 to 2 years preferred prior security experience.
  • Prior experience in a position with direct guest contact is preferred.
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of basic computer programs.
  • Ability to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), and a current and valid Nevada Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work any day of the week and any shift.
