About The Position

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining dispatch logs, keeping accurate records of guest requests, accidents, incidents, and response time and safety concerns. The dispatcher will also direct officers to locations needing assistance and field all emergency calls for the resort.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Listening skills to gather and relay information
• Multi-tasking abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Problem-solving skills to make decisions under pressure
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and dispatch software
• Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain the Daily Activity log
• Coordinate all emergency dispatching, on-site and through municipal services
• Monitor the Fire Alarm System
• Monitor incoming calls
• Conduct routine patrol checks around properties
• Control and document the issuance of keys and radios
• Control entry and exit of the resort service entrance
• Monitor the CCTV cameras
• Log in and out visitors of the property
• Log in and out guest/associate packages
• Proper execution of the lost and found program
• Pass on all information to the on-going Dispatch Officer
