About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Managed Security Services Manager who will work in the Americas Managed Services organization, supporting Managed Security Services in several customer contracts. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our security operations meet Ericsson’s and the customers’ expected security standards, anticipate emerging threats, and execute comprehensive security strategies for our Managed Services contracts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in security roles
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management roles
  • Extensive experience with security operations
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards (with focus on 27001, 27002, and 27005)
  • Knowledge and experience with the core domains of cybersecurity knowledge: Security & Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture & Engineering, Communications & Network Security, Identity & Access Management, Security Assessment & Testing, Security Operations, and Software Development Security
  • Passion for people leadership and can build a high performing team with integrity at the core
  • Knowledge of telecom and IT services frameworks (eTOM, ITIL, etc.)
  • Strong track record in engaging and building trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid telecom industry knowledge and extensive experience to address operations challenges
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, English is a must
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent actions with ease
  • Experience in a global delivery model working with offshore and nearshore delivery units, and the willingness to work across multiple time zones to meet delivery deadlines
  • Experience in financial management (financial acumen, analytical skills, cost planning, tracking and improvement)

Nice To Haves

  • CISSP, CISM, and other security certifications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Ericsson security policies, directives, and guidelines (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Ericsson’s business environment (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals to secure our customers’ networks and Ericsson hosted solutions, ensuring compliance with Ericsson and customer requirements across all contracts in scope.
  • Monitor security systems, conduct risk assessments, and identify vulnerabilities and security risks.
  • Oversee security incident detection and response processes, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of security incidents.
  • Drive security governance and coordinate security audits/assessments (internal, external, customer) as required.
  • Align security strategy with Ericsson business priorities, current threat landscape and technology developments.
  • Communicate E2E security strategy to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong security culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide security thought leadership.
  • Identify competence/capability opportunities through hiring, training and coaching.

  • The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
  • Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
  • Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
  • The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
