About The Position

As a Security Corporal, you will protect of all property of Choctaw Casinos and for ensuring procedures are followed as applicable. You will report to the Security Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
At least of 21 years of age.
Must be medically fit and able to perform all of the essential functions of a Security Officer and pass a physical fitness test.
Must have a valid state driver's license.
Basic Computer skills to report writing, composition or correspondence, Internet and email.
Be able to reason and react calmly and quickly in emergency and life-threatening situations.
Qualify yearly with department firearms.
Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in high stress and conflict situations.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make logical decisions.
6 months of prior experience as a Security Officer

Responsibilities

Access and retrieve computerized data.
Investigate unusual or suspicious situations.
Help with emergency situations.
Patrol internal and external company property
Have knowledge of company regulations and procedures.
Maintain logbook of all activity occurring daily.
Write incident reports regarding all security issues, accidents, theft, or vandalism and submit to the Security Supervisor.
Help with supervising subordinate personnel.
Involved in customer and employee related issues due to an impending or obvious threat and volatile situation
Handles security issues courteously, effectively, and discreetly.
Operate firefighting equipment and short-wave radio and administer CPR and first aid.
Refer dangerous situations or complex problems to supervisor.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
