The Security Coordinator supervises Shift Supervisors and Safety Monitors and has overall responsibility for continuous safety and order in the assigned facility and for the training, scheduling, and management of the Safety Monitors and Shift Supervisors. The Security Coordinator ensures the facility has 24 hour security coverage, 365 days a year, and that the Shift Supervisor manages shifts and posts accordingly. S/he oversees all security operations of the facility, including exits, entries and associated tasks such as sign-in books, security screening procedures, and enforcement of relevant policies. The Security Coordinator triages incidents and is responsible for their accurate assessment, response, and documentation, along with timely and comprehensive completion of risk management and prevention activities such as foot patrols, fire drills, and other activities.
