About The Position

As a Security Coordinator you will contribute to the development and application of access control procedures and work in the site credentialing program. The Security Coordinator will perform a variety of security-related functions to ensure the safety and security of company employees and assets. You will report to the Manager. Global Security and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a hybrid role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of security experience or experience in an operational environment·
  • Knowledge of related security operations, applicable NRC regulations, safety practices and enforcement procedures
  • Successfully pass pre-employment and regulatory required background investigations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the completion of assigned physical security projects through direct interface with internal customers, project management team, and security integrator(s)
  • Coordinate with external suppliers regarding implementation of the agreed scope of work concerning multiple Security projects.
  • Ensure all security projects meet Global Security's internal design requirements, project or regulatory requirements, and industry's best practices.
  • Ensure all project status reports are completed
  • Recommend and coordinate proposed changes with Global Security Management.
  • Perform observations and assessments to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
