About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Regional Corporate Security Manager, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring regional employee safety and physical site security programs. Responsibilities include maintaining a coordinated physical site security program and conducting investigations and analysis of safety and security incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.

  • Strong understanding of physical security principles and their role in mitigating risks to people, assets, and information.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to build credibility with stakeholders and strengthen the safety and security network.

Responsibilities

  • Security Operations & Program Management Monitor and follow up on key performance indicators (KPIs) as directed by the line manager.
  • Participate in all aspects of security operations, including personnel and property protection, intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems.
  • Conduct weekly verification of security technology systems and report ineffective or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Regularly verify adherence to access control procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and the application of company security policies.
  • Prevent, detect, and report loss or theft of company property.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of business operations, systems, and sensitive information.
  • Serve as backup to the Regional Corporate Security Manager and ensure continuity of all security operations in their absence.
  • Investigations, Loss Prevention & Fraud Support surveys related to damaged, missing, or stolen goods during transport or within logistics centers.
  • Participate in investigations and analysis of security and safety incidents to determine cause and recommend preventive measures.
  • Support and coordinate investigations of fraudulent activities or policy/ethics violations, aligning findings with the Regional Corporate Security Manager.
  • Investigate warehouse shrink outside acceptable ranges and propose action plans to remediate and reduce shrinkage.
  • Execute programs to prevent inventory loss and controllable losses.
  • Compile, document, and present investigative reports to the line manager.
  • Compliance, Audits & Risk Assessments Develop and coordinate security policies with the line manager in support of TD SYNNEX Worldwide Minimum Security Standards and/or TAPA FSR A compliance.
  • Participate in annual security and safety audits, as well as risk and threat assessments at logistics centers and carrier hubs within the assigned region.
  • Training & Stakeholder Collaboration Conduct regular security awareness training for TD SYNNEX employees.
  • Maintain direct relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Carrier Security teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce LIT figures and deliver reporting and recommendations to Corporate Security leadership and the Logistics Director.
  • Work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies to investigate and resolve internal and external theft or fraud cases.
  • Leadership, Response & Travel Manage and supervise security personnel at logistics centers.
  • Act as first responder to urgent security breaches (e.g., intrusion alarms), which may require travel to other sites.
  • Be available for short-notice travel within the designated region to address urgent security needs.
  • Develop a local network of professional security contacts within the logistics environment to enhance business and security intelligence.
  • Participate in security-related professional organizations to remain current on industry trends and issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Corporate Security Manager.
