About The Position

The Security Cooperation Analyst provides planning support for security cooperation activities between MARCENT and regional partners to enhance partnerships and coalition interoperability. This role analyzes partner-nation requirements, supports development of security cooperation activities, drafts reports and planning products, and tracks outcomes of cooperative events. With 3–5 years of experience in international military cooperation programs, the analyst contributes to MARCENT engagement planning, assists with trip book preparation, data entry, and management of lessons learned programs, and supports budgeting and projections for partner-nation engagements. By aligning MARCENT cooperation initiatives with partner requirements, the Security Cooperation Analyst strengthens coalition readiness and regional security objectives. THIS EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, Regional Studies, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in international military cooperation programs.
  • Experience constructing trip books, performing data entry, and supporting engagement logistics.
  • Experience managing lessons learned programs, country budgets, and projections.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Ability to analyze partner-nation requirements and align them with MARCENT cooperation objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple engagement activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
  • Attention to detail in documentation, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze partner-nation requirements and support development of security cooperation activities.
  • Support MARCENT cooperative exercises and engagement planning.
  • Draft security cooperation products and reports.
  • Track outcomes of security cooperation events.
  • Assist in constructing trip books to support leadership engagements.
  • Perform data entry and maintain records of security cooperation activities.
  • Manage lessons learned program related to security cooperation engagements.
  • Support management of country budgets and projections for cooperation events.
  • Assist in developing SOPs for security cooperation planning and execution.
  • Contribute to after-action reviews for partner-nation engagement events.
  • Provide advisory input to improve tracking and reporting of cooperative activities.
  • Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure security cooperation documentation is archived according to records management standards.
