About The Position

Guidehouse is looking for an experienced professional with experience assessing and advising on controls of information systems for federal organizations. Personnel assigned to this role will support the security and compliance program of a federal client with a critical and high-profile mission across over 200 information systems. Your duties will span common/core control tasks including assessments of security controls for assigned systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., NIST RMF). You will evaluate technical implementations, identify vulnerabilities, provide risk-based recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders to support system authorization and continuous monitoring activities.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET federal security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree In Computer Science, Information Technology or related field OR High School Diploma with an additional FOUR (4) years of experience.
  • Minimum of FOUR (4) years' experience related to cybersecurity, information assurance, information technology and/or IT Technology Consulting.
  • Possess or the ability to obtain a DOD 8140 certification aligned with a Security Control Assessor role.

Nice To Haves

  • SIX (6) or more years' experience as a Security/Network Administrator or Cybersecurity professional
  • Current DOD 8140 certification
