The Security Communications Specialist at GardaWorld plays a crucial role in managing security communications and operations within the Security Operations Center. This position involves handling emergency and non-emergency calls, coordinating responses to incidents, and ensuring effective communication between various stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in computer systems, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Handle calls for service; intake of media and emergency calls
  • Complete daily reporting; incident report input and approval
  • Conduct travel security reviews
  • Ensure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security Operations Center
  • Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force
  • Process and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures
  • Coordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a skills-based assessment called 'Criticall' after the interview process
  • Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated high level of competency with advanced computer systems

  • Experience in a modern 911 Call Center, Central Station Alarm Monitoring, or Dispatch Operation.
