About The Position

The Security Communications Center Operator at Curtis Services is responsible for managing communications within the security operations center. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Guard Card certification required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Answering all incoming phone calls to the Communications Center.
• Monitoring and answering all radio traffic.
• Dispatching patrol officers to calls for service.
• Monitoring PTZ camera system.
• Auditing officer reports prior to sending out to clients.
• Maintaining various logs and files and performing related clerical work.
• Exercising initiative and independent judgment to react appropriately under stressful conditions.
• Monitoring incoming email communications and forwarding them to appropriate departments and individuals.
