Small hospital environment that creates a cozy, friendly environment where everyone knows your name! $20.00 / hour Shifts Hospital Rover 0000-0800 Monday - Friday Hospital Rover 0800-1600 Sun- Thurs Role Duties: Provide a dedicated professional Security Presence in a healthcare setting Promote Patient Safety with consistent patrols, De-escalation Tactics, and a focus on compassionate care Assist medical staff in high-intensity incidents & emergencies Conduct Patient safety screenings, Provide access control, and customer service assistance Complete accurate after-action reports for incidents and calls for service. Assist the medical tea with medical restraints as trained, transport deceased patients to the morgue Maintain Hospital Safety and security policies and patient safety and dignity with the highest level of professionalism

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED verifiable by a 3rd party background check
  • At least 2 years of verifiable work history with no gaps in employment more than 90 days
  • Ability to pass a federal 10-panel drug test
  • Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements
  • Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand/walk long periods and respond quickly when needed
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, elite military forces, and combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
  • Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
