As a Security Officer Reception in Dover, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a dynamic campus location, assisting visitors, managing access activity, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach while working with integrity and teamwork to help create a professional and positive environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, students, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet incoming individuals, verify access permissions, and document visitor information in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
