About The Position

Joining the Security Team means ensuring the safety of Kings Island park and all guests and associates. Kings Island offers more than 100 rides, an award-winning kids’ area, a 33-acre waterpark, shows and attractions, providing a combination of world-class thrills and attractions.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older for this position.
• Interact well with others from all backgrounds and age groups.
• Work well within a team with a commitment to safety.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
• Ability to remain calm and clear during tense situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and associates entering the park and guide them through the screening process.
• Facilitate screening for firearms and unauthorized weapons using detection units.
• Perform bag checks and cooler searches for any unauthorized items.
• Checks identification at associate and contractor entrances to prevent unauthorized entry.
• May assist with traffic direction and control in the parking lot.
